Saturday: APE, day 1
I milked five hours of sleep to get ready for my first real Con experience...
My expression looks like it could be "eager to please" or "eager to pee".
Mr. Sang Kim was kind enough to help me set up on Saturday morning. An impromptu Luchador VS. Kaiiju battel occurred in front of my table.
For the rare moment I was able to free myself from the table, I caught up with friend/cartoonist hero Derek. I also got to finally meet the amazing Gene Yang: His "American Born Chinese" almost moved me to tears.

After the Con, I dragged Sam and Sang to the Gallery 1988 for "The Indie" opening reception... but unfortunately it was insanely packed. We didn't last long there.
